Francesco La Vecchia, the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the Orchestra, has conducted over 100 renowned orchestras around the world.Orchestra Sinfonica di Roma has performed on many significant occasions since its establishment. At the New Year Concert at Piazza del Quirinale, Italian President watched the performance, which was broadcast live by RAI. The Orchestra also showed up at the celebration ceremony for the 300th anniversary of ST. PETERSBURG’s establishment in Russia, Cadogan Hall in London, Berlin Philharmonic Concert Hall, etc. On December 2004, the Orchestra stunned the Spanish audience and the Queen Sophia with splendid presentation at Auditorio Nacional de la Musica ---- one of the most famous concert halls in the world.
